Democrats Listen
By Sam Weaver

A Fair Warning
A Fair Warning
Please listen one and all
You are in confusion
Because of this man’s gall
He represented
Democrats to their shame
For he set them on a
Course without purpose or aim
Indeed It’s a dark road
He put these people on
And the glory days of
This party is gone
Because of the
Insolence of this man
In making the Bible
Inferior to this Karan
And by swearing by it
When he was sworn in
He brought America’s
Favor to an end
And the hell of it is
They’re letting this man
Back into the fold
To speak for them again
A Fair Warning
Please listen one and all
You are in confusion
Because of this man’s gall
Luke 17-1.

It is impossible that offenses should come, but woe to that man through whom they come.

A Fair Question
Written September 7, 2010
By Sam Weaver

A Fair Question
A Fair question
Yes, let us be fair
The Christians and Muslims
Do we equally share
Muslims you brought Mosque to
The American shore
Then should not the Christian
Have an open door
Would your people
Honor us or not
Forgive us if
We put you on the spot
Equality you want but
Would your land do the same
You preach your belief
We preach Jesus’ name
Would we be equal
Like you want to be
Would your homeland let
Us be equally free
What’s your conclusion
The church would like to hear
So once and for all
We can all be clear
All this poem’s asking is
Really in the end
How do you equalize
What’s not equal my friend
John Chapter 7, Verse 20.

By their fruits you will know them.

A Dream That Cannot Die

A Dream That Cannot Die
Martin Luther King
A Poetic Journey Into The Past
Written January 15, 2001

(Part of a Birthday Trilogy)
A Dream That Cannot Die
A poetic journey
Into the past
Why Martin Luther King’s
Memory will last
My race was an issue
Of the Civil War
But North and South is not
Where the real issues are

It’s the militant heart
Then and now that hate
That tried to keep my race
In their fallen state
But Jesus chose me out
From the ages of time
And through me gave my race
Leverage to climb
I’m God’s focal point
For freedom’s cause
I’m God’s door and voice
That opens separate walls
I’m black freedom’s
Rallying cry
And I have a dream
That cannot die
Isaiah Chapter 43, Verses 5,6,7. I sill say to the North, give up, and to the South, keep not back.

A Congressional Vision

By Sam Weaver

A Congressional Vision
Jesus used a congressional
Vision to impart
Comfort and healing to
A widow and nation’s heart
As America watched
Those with an ear knew
Jesus used this vision
To bless them too
To the balcony
Trump looked up and pointed
And in that instant his
Words became anointed
President Trump did
Not say this on a whim
But through the Holy
Spirit dwelling in him
The room became silently
Quite without a sound
And in that instant
Became holy ground
Dear Lord what a glow
Was on this lady’s face
Evidencing the truth
Of God’s redeeming grace
A fallen soldier
Fighting America’s war
Is eternally linked with
The nation he died for
To this widow’s heart
That’s what Trump spoke
From America’s head
That gave us all hope
Hope for families
Who’s loved ones sacrificed
In American wars
Are now home with Christ

Habakkuk Chapter 2. Verse 2. The Lord told me to write down the vision and make it plain.

The Hearts Of England

Written March 20, 2003

(The Hearts Of England)
Multiple choices
And multiple Gods
Are putting country
And God at odds
That’s the enemies
Mythical plan
Confuse through doubt
The hearts of England
But God’s own words
Takes away that myth
By saying who will
You compare Me with
God declared His plans
For us long ago
Pray through Jesus Christ
And stay in His flow
England seek
The God of your youth
And embrace through prayer
The unchanging truth
England’s still
A Christian nation
So pray through Jesus
Without variation

Isaiah Ch. 46, Verse 5. To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal And compare Me with.

A Beautiful Love Story

A Beautiful Love Story
Written July 1, 2008
By Sam Weaver

A Beautiful Love Story
What a blessing
I had today
When a beautiful
Love story came my way
It was a love
Time could not destroy
And when I heard it
It brought me great joy
This is a story
A poet dreams of
For how poetic
Is this timeless love
God redeemed the time
And made them one heart
It was as though they
Were never apart
Billy and Stacy
This poem’s about you
And now more then ever
We know your love’s true
What a blessing
I had today
When a beautiful
Love story came my way
1 Corinthians Chapter 13, Verses 8 and 13.
Love never fails.

But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

A Prayer Poem For Our Land
Written September 6, 2013
By Sam Weaver

A Prayer Poem For Our Land
(The End Of The Trail)
Poems about our land
Are more than a few
But each one’s a prayer
Lord offered to You
Now time’s winding down
It’s plain to see
So Lord help us to know
Who key players should be
Jesus let harmony
And peace prevail
As You bring us to
The end of the trail
Lord we have looked to You
From beginning to end
And now we know through You
All concerned will win
Psalm 73, Verse 24.
You will guide us with Your council and afterward receive us to glory.

It’s Not A Culture War

It’s Not A Culture War
Written July 4, 2017
By Sam Weaver

America
(It’s Not A Culture War)
It’s not a culture war
That’s not where we are
It’s not a culture war
It’s a spiritual war
It’s based on what’s embraced
In the culture
What spirit is the
Foundation of its structure
Is it the antichrist
We know as the beast
Or the one we know
As the prince of peace
It’s not a culture war
That’s not where we are
It’s not a culture war
It’s a spiritual war
Matthew Chapter 12; Verse 30.
Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters.

IT’S A SPIRITUAL FIGHT

By Sam Weaver IT’S A SPIRITUAL FIGHT
It’s a spiritual fight
Between Darkness and light
A fight for survival
Until Jesus’ arrival
Satan penetrates man through sin
Jesus defends man from within
And Satan can never stand
When man lets Jesus command
There will never be neutral ground
For it’s no where to be found
You fight for God’s imitator
Or you fight with your creator
It’s a spiritual fight
Between Darkness and light
A fight for survival
Until Jesus’ arrival
Satan gives lies through sensation
Jesus gives truth through revelation
Satan offers damnation
Jesus offers salvation
Satan spreads condemnation
Jesus gives vindication
Satan caused the curse
Jesus caused the reverse
It’s a spiritual fight
Between Darkness and light
A fight for survival
Until Jesus’ arrival
Keep up the fight
Stay in the light
It’s a spiritual fight
Between darkness and light
I Timothy; Chapter 6, Verse 12

It’s The Same Old War

It’s The Same Old War
Written August 9, 2012
By Sam Weaver

It’s The Same Old War
It’s the same old war
Darkness verses light
And Jesus made it clear
Who will win the fight
No matter what the
Enemy may say
You fight Jesus’ battles
He’ll pave the way
This is the key
In Jesus be bold
And He’ll break the grip
Of Satan’s hold
For once Jesus counters
When they come against
He’ll expose truths for which
There is no defense
Psalm 73, Verse 24.
Thy shalt guide us with thy counsel and afterward receive us to glolry.
