A Covenant With Death

 Lord Jesus our prayer
 Is that You will band
 This covenant with death
 Throughout the land

 A covenant with death
 That sounds pretty stern
 But can you think 
 Of a better term 

 It is my body 
 That’s the point they made
 And made a covenant
 With death their crusade

 This covenant with death
 Had this nation bound 
 But Roe verses Wade
 Has been turned around 

 Ah but we can
 Contest this in each state
 And still determine 
 Our babies fate  

 Dear God, how hideous
 This is to hear and see
 That’s how they look
 On their own baby 

 What is the reward
 Of what they work toward
 The’re in a covenant 
 That ends at the graveyard

 Lord Jesus our prayer
 Is that you will band
 This covenant of death
 Throughout the land

Deuteronomy 30-19. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses.  Therefore, choose life, that both thee and thy seed may live.
